1st in a Series: "Get to Know Your Town" Event
April 20, 2017 was the first lecture series for "Get to know your town" sponsored by the East Brunswick Democratic Women's Committee and the South Asian American Committee, with refreshments provided by the East Brunswick Education Association. Our guest speaker Dr. Valeski, Superintendent of East Brunswick Schools captivated the crowd with his history, vision and state of our schools, and took questions from the audience. It was an informative session for all those that attended. Please stay tuned to our facebook page for further information on future dates for upcoming lectures.
Middlesex County Democrats Choose East Brunswick's Park Chateau for their Reorganization
The Middlesex County Democratic Organization chose East Brunswick's new opulent banquet facility, The Park Chateau, to host it's yearly reorganization meeting June 13th, 2017. For YEARS it had been held at the Pines Manor in Edison. Democratic delegates, who came from all over the county, were WOWED by the new jewel of the town, county and arguably the state. Special guest and our Democratic candidate for NJ Governor, Ambassador Phil Murphy, energized the audience for the upcoming November 7th election when we hope to take back the governorship and additional assembly and senate seats to Democratic control. It was an inspiring evening in an inspiring new facility - the Park Chateau.
2016 Democratic Holiday Party
Our yearly celebration of the holiday season occurred December 7, 2016 at Baker's Barn on Church Lane. We collected many toys for the Marine's Toys for Tots program, celebrated the victories of our Democratic candidates Councilmen Sterley Stanley & Michael Spadafino, and Mayor Brad Cohen. Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin joined us. We caught up with old friends and met some new friends. A great time was had by all.
